Jaime Vindel

Jaime Vindel (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) is a historian, critic and teacher of contemporary art. He has a European PhD in Art History from the University of Leon and MhD in Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has been a visiting researcher at the National University of San Martin, Buenos Aires, Argentina, MoMA, Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA, and TRAIN Research Centre for Transnational Art, Identity and Nation, University of the Arts, London, United Kingdom.

He has written many articles published in various reviews, book chapters and the books, for example La vida por asalto: arte, política e historia entre la “Revolución Argentina” y el “Corralito” (Brumaria, 2014). As member of the Red Conceptualismos del Sur he co-curated the show Losing the Human Form. A Seismic Image of the 80s in Latin America (MNCARS, october 2012-march 2013).
